Fujitsu will develop a business strategy in 2011 with a base of cloud computing or cloud computing. This was affirmed S Achmad Sofyan, President Director of Fujitsu Indonesia in the media gathering at the Hard Rock Hotel, Kuta, Bali, on Tuesday (01/25/2011).

He said that Fujitsu has invested $ 1.1 billion U.S. dollars in various fields related to cloud computing. In addition, Fujitsu will also train specialists 5000 until 2012.

With its investment, Fujitsu hopes to achieve a global revenue of cloud computing business to 17 billion dollars by March 2016. Business cloud computing encompasses consulting services and high-value services cloud services.

"We have to bring cloud computing services about 14 million U.S. dollars for Fujitsu, especially from the infrastructure as a service. In the future, most of the revenue will come from consulting services, integration and other models of consumption cloud," said Achmad.

Ahmad went on, most of the investment will be allocated for the development of data centers. Other investment is a kind of internal transformation and restructuring of business training so as to adjust the cloud market. Fujitsu is also partnering with Microsoft Azure to develop software as a service.

In Southeast Asia, Fujitsu invest USD 38 million to build a global cloud platform in Singapore. Platform for the cloud is 1 of 5 similar facilities established Fujitsu and will serve the entire Asian region.
